COVID-19: What to do
At Centro De Salud Familiar La Fe (La Fe) our top priority is protecting the health and safety of our patients, staff members, and the communities we serve. We understand that this can be a confusing time, but we are committed to responding to your needs, partnering with other providers and health authorities and staying informed as this evolves in the El Paso County and surrounding vicinities.
Most people who get COVID-19 will experience mild symptoms that they can easily manage at home. Please do not come to the clinic if you are experiencing any symptoms (cough, fever, difficulty breathing). If you do develop symptoms of COVID-19, please call our Center at (915) 534-7979 and speak to our staff. La Fe staff will help you figure out the next steps. At this time La Fe does not have the ability to test for COVID-19. Please call us to discuss your options.
What is La Fe doing to protect its patients and staff?
With Coronavirus/COVID-19 in our city, the health and well-being of our patients and staff are our top priority. We are following the Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and the state and local authorities.
This includes:
- Pre-screening patients to ensure the safety of others
- Increasing cleaning and sanitation in our health centers
- Requiring every staff member to adhere to the exiting health and safety protocol including frequent hand washing and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Urging staff to stay home if they are sick
Are there any changes to La Fe’s hours of operation?
Yes, at this time all of our health centers will remain open from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. to serve the needs of our community.
